Carella Jewellers - Meet the Jeweller
 -
My name is Carolyn Stevenson and I am a Trade Qualified Jeweller, my interest in Jewellery Manufacture started while I was working as a Retail Assistant in a jewellery store which had a  Manufacturing Jeweller onsite.

I worked in Retail Jewellery for 3 years & then completed a Basic Silversmith course at Rockhampton Tafe & went on to complete an Apprenticeship at Mystique Jewellers Rockhampton -started in 2006 & Block Training at Southbank Tafe Brisbane. I also did additional training - With Rex Merten - Hand Engraving Course in Sydney & Stone Setting Course, Brisbane. In 2011 I had a purpose built workshop fitted out.

The name "Carella" is in memory of my best friend Janelle who passed away in 2011 and is a combination of our names. Janelle had a real passion for jewellery and design,  without her encouragement Carella Jewellers would not have been possible.
My makers mark is "CJ" to match the business name, but also acknowledges my maiden name "Johnson" initials.

I have lived in the Rockhampton Area all my life and have no desire to move, I love it here.

I am focused on providing a high quality of workmanship & customer satisfaction and do everything I can to meet your expectations.
As a result, a high percentage of my business is from repeat customers and referrals.
I welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service possible.
